WALTER GROPIUS THONET W199 CHAIR BAUHAUS RARE This is a vintage mid century modern bentwood arm chair. Designed by Walter Gropius a German architect and founder of the Bauhaus school. He is highly regarded as one of the pioneering masters of modern architecture. This is the W199 chair by Thonet. Measures 29.5" high by 25.5" wide and 21" deep. The seat is 18" from the floor.
